Acknowledgment of Indigenous Peoples and Lands
Cybensol Technology Inc. acknowledges that we live and work on the traditional territories of Indigenous Nations across Canada. Our head office operates within the lands traditionally cared for by the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat peoples. We recognize their enduring connection to this land and are committed to building respectful relationships based on understanding, collaboration, and accountability.
Commitment to Collaboration and Respect
Cybensol believes that reconciliation is an ongoing process that requires listening, learning, and meaningful action. We aim to create partnerships and opportunities that support Indigenous participation in Canada’s technology, design, and innovation sectors.
We welcome collaboration with Indigenous designers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to co-create digital experiences that reflect Indigenous perspectives and uphold principles of self-determination and cultural respect.
Actions and Learning in Progress
We are committed to increasing awareness among our team about Indigenous histories, cultures, and contributions to technology and design. This includes encouraging participation in training programs, supporting Indigenous-led digital initiatives, and ensuring our design practices reflect cultural sensitivity and inclusion.
Future Intent and Continuous Improvement
Cybensol acknowledges that reconciliation is a journey, not a destination. We will continue to learn from Indigenous communities, review our practices, and seek ways to integrate Indigenous knowledge systems and design principles into our projects in respectful and authentic ways.
Closing Statement
Cybensol honours the resilience and leadership of Indigenous peoples in shaping Canada’s past, present, and future. We are committed to taking tangible steps that contribute to a more inclusive, equitable, and respectful digital future for all.
